Pictures from a Picnic

Claire was sad she couldn't grant her daughter's wish, it's was very cold cold out there today,it was best they stayed in. Lisa heartbroken gather her favorite toys and started their imaginary walk in the woods and planning a picnic. Claire smiled at the idea that came to her mind. She quietly snook away ensuring to to disturbance Lisa's adventure.

Lisa! Claire called. Come over here honey.

Grumpily leaving her dolls. I'm coming mummy. She said with disappointment till singing in her voice. Holding on to rocky her favorite doll, who never breaks her heart. As she got into her mother's room, her eyes lit up. She rushed to her mum's side. Tears filling her eyes.

Oh candy. Claire kissed her daughter's forehead and warm cheeks. I know you love to play outside but that's impossible, so I thought of an indoor Picnic. I hope this will cheer you up. Lisa nodded, eyeing the goodies her mum. Alright let's get Greg and have lots of fun.

Running with excitement,Lisa helped her little brother to his spot. Her mum had flowers and pictures everywhere. Soon Robert, her dad joined in with spark their lovely dog who volunteer to made them some hot coco and pancakes.

Claire and Robert showed them pictures of the other picnics they had been to and took pleasure in introducing them to more of their extended family. After a lot of fun, good run and hide and seek, Claire and Robert had time to look at the new pictures they had taking today and selected some to add the family's album.

Twenty years later, a sweet smiled formed on Lisa face as she shared with her friends the memories behind the pictures from a picnic in her mum's room. It was one lesson she will never forget, there is always a way to enjoy life if you open your mind to create that that you truly want, if not the original, then as close as it can to it, to satisfy you in the moment. Hopeful if God and life permits then till push for the original.
