Poem:
PAIN OF REJECTION
I can dance in the heavy rain
And break free from that chain
But I doubt enduring the pain
With fangs stinging leaving stain.
I can sit and merely imagine
And pose confidently in magazine
But I doubt overcoming the addiction
Which is the proof of my adoration.
I can climb a mountain and sing
And loudly do so for joy to bring
But I know not behaving like king
Who stretch a hand as if it's a wing
I can persevere a retaliation attack
And fight without withdrawing back
But reason shouldn't be colour black
As my personal development is unpack.

POETIC VIEWS
The poem presents a journey of personal empowerment and self-realization, capturing a blend of resilience, vulnerability, and introspection. Each stanza juxtaposes the poet's abilities against their doubts, creating a powerful contrast between potential and personal limitations.
In the opening stanza, the imagery of dancing in heavy rain symbolizes freedom and the breaking of constraints. However, this liberation is tempered by the poet's doubt about enduring the inevitable pain that comes with it. The "fangs stinging leaving stain" suggests deep emotional or physical wounds that linger, hinting at the lasting impact of past traumas.
The second stanza contrasts the ease of imagination and the superficial confidence depicted in posing for a magazine with the struggle to overcome addiction. The addiction here can be interpreted as a metaphor for deeper dependencies or attachments, possibly to a person, a habit, or a way of thinking.
The final stanza showcases the poet's resilience in the face of adversity, able to withstand and retaliate without retreat. However, they emphasize that their motivations should not be rooted in negativity or malice ("colour black"). The focus shifts to personal growth and development, indicating a journey towards a more enlightened and positive self.
