A jagged horizon
Drawn by attention
Shadowed peaks
Upon halcyon mountains

( A poetess, when she writes, it seems like the same of the cry of a butterfly )

Seeking solitude
The sinking sun slides
Between the crevace
Of a charred hillside

(In poetry, more than in any normal or strange styles or other forms of writing, there is an approach that you must wait for inspiration to hit. This seems to be true with poetess Carey Milton as this poem has been depicted so beautifully)

Smouldering boulders
Charcoal trees
Simmer into the night
Extinguished by the cool breeze

( Keeping a varied poetic vocabulary increases the chances that you will find something to motivate and inspire your writings as it is always with Carey Milton, She uses simple and accurate symbols to depict the emotions and feeling )

Now I watch and wait
As I anticipate
Final rays to vanish
Amid a bronzed-sky haze

( It is good practice to write when you feel no inspiration or even inclination to do so.  One of the ways in which I push myself is to sit down and write about whatever object comes into my head, or the least poetic thing you can think of at the moment.)

Smoky wings flutter
Burnt by the blaze
Butterflies die
Terminating their day

( The death of a butterfly is well depicted by Poetess Carey Milton, This is one of her excellent write, My applause)

Their silent screams
Are still seen in my dreams
Every time....I close my eyes
They're asleep

( Reading poetry expands poetry horizons. You see the many things that poetry can be written about and it breaks you out of your shell of thought. It also increases the myriad of images and ideas in your subconscious.)

As a crisp night falls
Like a blanket of snow
Upon scorched grounds
Calming embers glow

( The Poetess herself turns to be a live butterfly when she is progressing in her writing of this poem, However, if she is   concerned about this influence, putting herself  in the right frame of mind can be as simple as writing her  own lovely poem on butterflies.. No matter how good or bad it turns out, I shall accept the beauty of Carey Milton's beautiful verses )

Then upon the days dawning
Cocoons begin forming
And I hear the cries
Of the butterflies calling.

Beautiful butterflies are same  like flowers that fly and all but sing and dance throughout their short life. And now from having ridden out desire they lie closed over in the wind and hug when and where blossomed flowers delight our own eyes and hearts during every dawn.

Butterflies are beautiful and graceful, varied and enchanting, small but lovely, like Poetess Carey Milto0n herself. Butterflies lead us to the sunny side of life.  And everyone deserves a little sunshine.  All butterflies are flying flowers,Happiness is a butterfly, which when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you. There is nothing in a caterpillar that tells you it's going to be a butterfly.
