Temptation Game
A rushing river, cutting through land, without fraught
Invited me into its churning pool of thought
I stripped my body, laid down completely bare
Entrusting my worries into the water’s care
(The very first line brings a poetic imagery, water bursting in a rushing river, the waves break through the land makes good-very symbolic way of impressed with sensual instincts in life, bringing the impacts of agitating and flowing thoughts of love, the beautiful body fully nude, laid down into the nature's rock bed, giving up the worries of life to the hands of water and its cleansing care-Amazing, alluring lines, dear Poetess, My applause)
As I released tension in the massaging laps
I sensed you there, watching me, and thought that perhaps
You were hiding, out of some sense of perverted shame
But your concealed presence turned me on in heated flame.
(Intuitive sensing of love  is more tuned in to future possibilities so still in a very spontaneous flow of emotional affair; these lines depict those emotions in a high level approach to self love)
Though nature hid you well, behind shadow lined trees
I felt burning eyes on my skin; it made me want to tease
I touched myself in places that you would surely know
Were deliberate, for an exhibitionist’s show
(Lust, like physical sex, points in only in one direction. You cannot go back to a lower level and stay satisfied. Always you want more. The third line of the verse depicts the self liking of both the love and lust in its clear meanings)
Rolling around in the water’s lapping waves in surge
I hoped my display would tempt you and give the urge
To leave your observation post, I did anticipate
My seductive scene would lure you in to participate
(Sensual desires have enormous pull on our burn up instincts making feelers defenseless to deciding a sinful relationship is okay because it feels so right.)
I arched my back, to increase your fascination
My body glistened in the sun from saturation
And still you stayed away, quiet and well hidden
NaĂŻve to wonder if your approach was forbidden
(Even if we are not immune from the desires of the flesh, still life begins from flesh and ends in flesh, the difference is only of feminine and masculine flesh )
I desired your passionate touch; I just could not wait
I stood up in the water, revealing all to instigate
Your sure move towards me, as you had to realize
That your presence in the woods was never a surprise
( In water, the sensing of touch, kiss and embrace gives a different illusion than whern you are in the air. The water media is a temptation for all kinds of sexual arousal)
I looked straight through the dark trees in your direction
I held out my arms to you, offering my affection
And finally you revealed yourself in quiet surrender
You undressed, entered the water, to join me in splendor
(Strength in resisting temptation, but introverts are a little less likely to get themselves into forbidden relationships, getting undressed is common while being in the river, and the beauty of the body is within the nature's lovely hands, Well depicted imagery)
This river served as more than a temptation game
I have loved you since forever and I feel no shame
You held me in the water, we shared all with pride
Long overdue to consummate the love we feel inside
(Even if you’re extremely shy and withdrawn, you’re still vulnerable to temptation from an attractive extrovert. The river is very good symbol of love, life and sex-beautiful poem dear Cherie Sumner.)

Over the years, I have come to understand that the furthermost entrap in our existence is not achievement, fame, or authority, but self-acceptance and  rejection. Triumph, reputation, and supremacy can indeed present a immense temptation, but their seductive quality often comes from the way they are part of the much larger temptation to self-rejection. When we have come to believe in the voices that call us worthless and unlovable, then success, popularity, and power are easily perceived as attractive solutions. The real trap, however, is self love, lust, acceptance as well as rejection of all- Thanks dear Poetess Cherie Sumner for sharing such a lovable verse and a fabulous image attached to it. I love both the verse as well as the image equally. My applause to you dear Poetess Cherie Sumner.

Dear Cherie,
I love to write on anything. whether it is poetry, story, screen write, review, I do enjoy everything. Writings Poetry review is a controversial process. Few publications review it at all, and with continually shrinking space for book reviews in general, poetry gets fewer column inches than ever, at least in print media. And yet, there exists a long tradition of careful prose considerations of poetry. Often, poetry reviewers—and publishers—are also poets, which may be because, for the most part, practitioners are the ones interested in poetry. It may also be true that writing about poetry requires a certain esoteric expertise that very few have it . Love to read your comments, By this time, I am very familiar with your writings, hence, ofr me it is easy to write appreciations for poems, beautifully written by COSMO Poetess like Cherei Sumner, Piusha Singh, Shaiqua Mushed, Christy Bozeman, Leola Stotts, Glenn, Curtis, Merrill Augustus and many other.
Love
