My cherished one, savor the fragrance of our love
With the blessings of our Father from heaven above
A gift, held in promise, and wrapped in steady faith
But beware of lurking deceivers, spiritual wraith

(This is about a treasured love and its smell spreading in and around along with the spiritual blessings of a person. Also about the presence of a living person that appears as a sign just before that person's death, the ghost of a dead person, something shadowy and insubstantial. The word meaning of "Wail " means loud weeping or lament like beat one's own breast, or to   grieve or protest loudly and bitterly;lament)

While we cling to healing’s beautiful beginning
Forces of darkness plot destruction by sinning
Convicted, demonic forces destined for hell
Loathe our special love, makes them vex………

                  Where dark angels wail

(Let all those secret counsel of the wicked be turned into sins of foolishness. Let God destroy and chop off their tongues)

When we express our love without any shame
Legions work overtime to destroy and defame
The truth we hold so dearly close in our hearts
We must recognize their ploy to tear us apart

(We all express and show our love without any hesitations. No weapon that is formed against the true love shall not win and let it strike the gates of hell to perish)

The darkness clothed in light shines only cryptic lies
When you feel weak and weary, just look in my eyes
Love shatters fear, gives perspective, always prevails
Stay alert and discerning, heed not…………………

(Better to overcome all strategy of hell against our own life and anything and everything of hell needs to be exposed and brought to light)

                   Where dark angels wail

Our laughter, our bond, our affections and belief
Annoy the anguished evil, bring gnashing of teeth
When we kiss with a loving vow, their tempers flurry
Our talk of God, our commitment, stirs their fury

(We should never lose our strength on every satanic and demonic conspiracy against our good life)

Hold me close, believe in us, escape from past pain
False demonic accusations will all be in vain
A heavenly lifetime love is ours without assail
Let deceptions scream in silence, unheard ………….

                   Where dark angels wail

(Let the heavenly hands hold us all and allow us to hide, and protect all of us from the secret and counsel of the wicked)

  • READ BETWEEN THE LINES

____________________________________

Poetry may well be the art of visualization of lonely mind or a depressed mood. A good poem lies somewhere beyond mere words: it is the intangible, an exultation in things vaguely apprehended, something which emerges out of its own form, and which cannot exist without that form, and Poetess Cherie Sumner's poems are so celestial in its depiction and narration when she writes on dark angels

A dark angel is typically benevolent celestial being that acts as an intermediary between heaven and earth, especially in the belief and faith of Christianity, Judaism, also Islam. In ancient Greece a Daimon, as they were called, was considered neither good nor evil. These were considered to be "guardian spirits" and everyone had one. Demons were not labeled evil until dualistic religions came into being and all spiritual beings were labeled either good or evil. This was when demons gained the reputation of trying to keep man from having a bond with god. Different cultures view spiritual matters and even spiritual beings differently. What may be a god in one culture, another may view as a devil. Angels, demons,  Devas,  Devi or Kali and Bhatra ( in Hindu mythology )  are all basically the same but are rooted in varying cultures and traditions.

While reading between the lines, this poem is highly inspiring and  elevating and speaks the profound truth, that negative love to adhere to negative things they know so well let them enjoy the things they know, this is an amazing creative work from the pen of Poetess Cherie Sumner.

Please accept my congratulations and applause for sharing this verse with COSMO viewers.
