In solitude among many I stand 
frozen as if a statue in time

(Every one of us, especially when becoming old, children will be away with their beloveds far, the we all plunge into despair and go in the depths of solitude and loneliness. Loneliness is always comes as a theme for poetic works. Do Safe guards well all your unused moment. They are like uncut diamonds. Discard them and their value will never be known. Improve them and they will become the brightest gems in a useful life.)

Resting all desire on one thought
that I pray without want

(Being alone never felt right. sometimes it felt good, but it never felt right. Hence, keep all your desires to take rest in one single thought. This is called concentration or meditation)

to come unto that place where reality is illusion

( Reality can be converted into illusions provided we go bit insane in normal life)

Where dreams are reality

( If dreams becomes realities, the world will rejoice)

The infinite is as close as my fingertip

(Literature or poetry writing is the most agreeable way of ignoring real  life)

When I look into a mirror I sense a miracle

( Mirror itself is a miracle, your image in the mirror is always a fake. Never believe it )

In truth there is no misunderstanding

(Very true, In truth, there is neither an understanding nor a misunderstanding. These are are the heart of this verse. I love it)

Authenticity saves my past from tomorrow

(In case if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it's not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.)

leaning on the untouchable
creates a strength no fortress can match

(Take care of yourself. The more solitary, the more friendless, the more unsustainable, the more you will respect yourself)

I can now find my heart in hatred

(Hatred is like a disease, It spreads to the soul and body equally)

and laughter in the tears of resolution

(The laughter takes an opposite direction)

By releasing all attachment to outcome 

(Life becomes detached as time passes away its ages)
I can finally achieve)

(The achievement we consider is what? Death or Happiness ?)

Life and death are endless..... 
as is the eternal Mother that is not a female

(This is the best two lines of this poem which I like the most)

and the Father that is not a male

( The diversity of both sex, male and female are beautifully depicted through this lines. My applauds to Poetess Leola Stotts)

Questions are the answers 
and I am just learning to ask.... 

(Like Questions are answers, Birth is death, death belong to life and it is our better half's)

This is an excellent write from the golden pen of Poetess Leola Stotts. My applause. Without loneliness, Love will not stay long by your side.

Because Love needs to rest as well, so that it can journey through the heavens and reveal it in other forms. Without solitude, no plant or animal can survive, no soil can remain prolific for any length of time, no child can learn about life, no artist can create, and no work can grow and be changed. Solitude is not the absence of Love, but its complement. Solitude is not the absence of company, but the moment when our soul is free to speak to us and help us decide what to do with our life. Therefore, blessed are those who do not fear solitude, who are not afraid of their own company, who are not always desperately looking for something to do, something to amuse themselves with, something to judge. If you are never alone, you cannot know yourself. And if you do not know yourself, you will begin to fear the void. But the void does not exist. A vast world lies hidden in our soul, waiting to be discovered. There it is, with all its strength intact, but it is so new and so powerful that we are afraid to acknowledge its existence.

Just as Love is the divine condition, so solitude is the human condition. And for those who understand the miracle of life, those two states peacefully coexist. Leola Stotts is an amazing Poetess  who is a regular contributor in COSMO, My Applause and  Congratulations
