"PARALLEL WORLD"
Alive in a parallel world of insanity, (Insanity is neither directed thinking nor directed feeling, but free – that is non-social – association. Hence the associations of dreams or insanity elements are personal and can only be understood by reference to the dreamer’s personal life. The secret law of dream’s structure is the “dream-work.”)
an obscured mystical land of uncertainty. ( Life is uncertain and to many of us, it is mystical too. It is a hidden meaning within a spiritual power and entity in this earthly life)
Fairies , monsters spirits my neighbours ( Fairy is realm of a type of mythical being or legendary creature in European folklore concepts, a different form of spirit, often described as metaphysical or supernatural instincts)
living in harmony in this slumberland . ( As the dreamer lives entirely in the images of a dream, without reference to another reality, so the reader of poetry lives in the words of the poetry, without reference to the external world)
I perceive them strolling around , (The poet's world is totally a different world. As the readers understand the poem, they will feel the emotions of the author. Just as the pythoness or bacchante speaks for the god in the first person, so the reader under the influence of poetic illusion feels for the poet in the first person.)
gazing straight into my weary eyes. (The Poet is tired of getting deeply involved in the dreams and anxiety in real life situations)
Inviting me to visit the forbidden (In poetry, we must penetrate behind the dome of many-coloured glass into the white radiance of the self)
land, with their wide glowing ogle (The need for a physiological introversion, which is a turning-away not from the immediate environment of the reader but from the environment or external reality)
Hearing fairies voices in my alcove, (The images of dream, like the ideas of poetry, are concrete. In each dream, and in each poem, the memory-image and the word play a different part, and therefore have different meanings.)
simultaneously monsters ordering , ( Dreams and poems are inconsistent among themselves. Each dream and each poem is a world of its own.)
to pick up the knife to kill myself, (In poetry the thoughts are to be directed on to the feeling-tone of the words themselves.)
or scaring me in my deep siesta .( The images of dream, like the ideas of poetry, are concrete. In each dream, and in each poem, the memory-image and the word play a different part, and therefore have different meanings. Dreams and poems are inconsistent among themselves. Each dream and each poem is a world of its own.)
Confused in this maze, unable to ( A situation of dilemma prevails)
move my body ,here i stand like (Poetic impressions stands high)
a wax statue ,unclad ,speaking a word (Beautiful illusions described in a well manner)
salad , comprehensible to no earthlings. ( The words used are very appropriate to the theme of the verse)
Still relishing the sweet brine on my tongue, ( Poetry is not narration, it needs to be rhythmic and musical )
Engrossed in the fragrance of a wild floret ( Beautifully narrated lines by the Poetess)
Paranoid about the existence of you and they,
withdrawn deep into a delusional phase .
Submerged in my ocean of thoughts, brain (physiological introversion is more necessary in poetry than in story, so that the poet accepts the difficulties of metre and rhyme. The answer is that introversion must be stronger in poetry)
inducing ,millions of vivid wild apprehensions. . (By introversion, it is not meant merely a turning-away from immediate environment – that could be secured by sitting in a quiet study, without disturbance)
Unable to cope this dysphoria in clumsiness, ( Poetic irrationality bears this resemblance to dream, that its flow of images is explained by affective laws; but it is not “free” association as in dream.)
brawling for a porthole to escape from this asphyxiation. ( Poetic feeling is directed feeling – feeling controlled by the social ego)

The images of a dream or illusions are like the ideas of a poetry and are concrete. In each dream, and in each poem, the memory-image and the word play a different part, and therefore have different meanings. Dreams and poems are inconsistent among themselves. Each dream and each poem is a world of its own.
Poetry is flowing. pulse secures the heightening of physiological consciousness so as to shut out sensory insight of the environment. In the rhythm of dance, music or song we become self-conscious instead of conscious. The rhythm of heart-beat and breathing and physiological periodicity negates the physical rhythm of the environment. In this sense sleep too is rhythmical. The dreamer retires into the citadel of the body and closes the doors in parallel to the mind of the author. No doubt, the image used by the Poetess as attachment to this poem is superb. Thanks and congrats to our Poetess of love Pisuha Singh for rendering an excellent verse to COSMO viewers.

Piusha Singh,
I am no one in Poetry and literature, still a child standing at the shores of beauty and love, picking useless seashells, carrying them home, and then retaining them for many many years until I return to my second home. Thanks for your wonderful poetic observations and soulful love
Love, regards
