A Light
You are the sun and you hold all light,
( This line is being interpreted as the most highly symbols of God who gives us light)
I am the moon and I am surrounded by darkness,
(Human represents the moon naturally, amidst the darkness, or evil)
but the stars are lights that hold the moments when you end up breaking down my walls and manage to make me forget my pain.
( Stars are like God's divine eye's which throw light to those who suffer in pain )
You are a creature of beauty that I can only admire.
( The Poetess is admiring the beauty of light, the beauty of the nature, the celestial love of God)
Sometimes when I get lonely I wrap my arms around myself
and if I do it tight enough I can trick myself into thinking you are there.
( Very matured and high level poetical implications depicted by way of this single line)
Its pathetic and sad just like me but I cannot seem to get your eyes
out of my head.
( Again the Poetess is giving significance towards God's mercy, Amazing. Great lines)
I do not just hear your voice I feel it inside my soul and it
saves me.
I'll never have you.
( No voice, but there is a feeling and a healing of the soul, Well depicted, highly inspired line from the golden pen of this young Poetess Deirde Tiernan)

Spiritual Light is not stagnant. It moves as Energy,. And until this Light-energy, or Spirit-power penetrates into one's soul embodied, or contracted, in the Heart-center, and cuts Heart-knot, engendering what Gautama Buddha called the Heart-release, I don't see how en-Light-enment is possible. On the other hand, the nature works on the basis that in order to feel certain ways, certain things have to happen. “If you love me , then I’ll be happy. If you don’t love me, then I’ll be miserable.” Everything is conditional. When happiness (Light) is essential, it’s not like that. If you love me, I’ll feel one kind of happiness; if you don’t, I’ll feel a different kind. It’s just a variation. If I am by myself in my room reading my book, that’s a certain kind of happiness. You need to be willing to let go of everything—everything you have, everything you believe, every idea you have about yourself and everyone else, every feeling. Without this, you are filled with ideas, desires, and attachments instead of yourself. You must be willing to let go of them in order to see the truth. At the deeper stages, you have to let go of even your body, even pleasure  and happiness, for the sake of truth. You need to let them go so that essence of life can fill you.
Please accept my congrats for sharing such a wonderful amazing verse for COSMO viewers, Good luck to you dear Poetess Deirdre Tiernan. We are waiting for more such verses from your golden Pen.

I like the way this was interpreted on a spiritual perspective. Although this poem can be seen in so many other perspectives, I liked this one. I was writing about a person I have loved as light, as Romeo talked of Juliet, but I see how you tied God into this picture. Very well done!
Dear Poetess Deirdre,
Thanks for your comments on my interpretation, I shall pick your good poems into my POET'S PEN with your kind permission.
