‘Slidey Rabbit’s lost her bounce’
 
Rory-Lee was playing Hide and seek bounce with his teddy friends Slidey Rabbit, Benji Blue Bear, Blue Monkey and Mr Eight Legs they all took turns counting up to 10 and then looking for each other, once a friend was found they had to bounce in the spot they were hiding in.
 
Blue Monkey’s turn came to count and then go seek he found Slidey Rabbit second but when she tried to bounce on her spot she couldn’t so she cried out for Rory-lee who came running. He stopped the game straight away.
 
“What’s the matter Slidey Rabbit?” he asked “I cannot bounce” came her reply “oh no” she cried “I’ve lost my bounce what am I going to do without my bounce” she said. “Don’t worry Slidey Rabbit” said her friends “We’ll help you find your bounce again” Said Rory-Lee “Ow my that’s kind of you all Thank you” Where should we start looking?
 
” Asked Blue Monkey, Rory-Lee replies “Apart from the place you were last found where have you been hiding in the garden?”
Slidey Rabbit started retracing her steps with her friends and looked in every place she’d hidden even in the spot she stood counting but no bounce was found Slidey Rabbit started crying with worry if my bounce is not outside then where has it gone we’ve looked everywhere out here she said and nothing “were you bouncing every other time you were found” asked Rory-Lee “yes” came her reply in a sad tone of voice “I want my bounce back” screamed Slidey Rabbit “Please stop crying Slidey Rabbit we’ll find your bounce we promise” her friends called out. Blue Monkey said he thought it was about time they went into the barn to see if Slidey Rabbit’s bounce had bounced off in there?
 
The barn animals started making loads of noise when Rory-Lee and his teddy friends woke them with the brightness of outside? “What’s going on Neighed horse Mars to the teddies” as they could understand animal talk. ”Slidey Rabbit has lost her bounce” came Mr Eight legs voice from around the corner of the pig pen. “Then how can we help” Minks the sheep Baaed Rory-Lee, Blue Monkey and Mr Eight Legs looked up top in the barn while Slidey Rabbit, Benji Blue Bear and some of the animals looked around the pens and the other animals looked in high places where they could reach
 
Slidey rabbit started getting even more worried about her bounce being lost as she and her friends couldn’t find it in the barn either. “How’s about we go in the garage and start looking in there” suggested Benji Blue Bear “I think it’s playing a very good game of hide and seek with us” replied Rory-Lee?” Slidey Rabbit cried out “well it’s doing a very grand job of hiding because we have looked everywhere outside and in the barn and it’s nowhere to be seen” Rory-Lee and his teddy friends checked the garage to see if they could find Slidey Rabbit’s bounce in there but still no signs of it?
 
Slidey Rabbit was getting even more upset because she couldn’t find her bounce then as they were leaving the garage to go look in the garden shed Blue Monkey Say’s to Rory-Lee it’s starting to get dark you must have a word with Slidey Rabbit about finding her bounce in the morning.
Slidey Rabbit Shouted Rory-Lee It’s 18:30 it’s time to stop looking for your bounce and go in as it’s nearly time for bed and am still having to go in the bath and get sorted for bed so we can watch Television for about half an hour I promise we will start looking again in the morning for your bounce.
 
Benji Blue Bear Turned and looked at Mr Eight Legs and said it sure would be nice if we could have kept looking for Slidey Rabbit’s Bounce she is very upset that it’s gone missing?” Rory-Lee goes in the bath with his bath toys Spike the Dinosaur, Floatey boat and Bubbles frog squeak. Once Rory-Lee is finished with his bath he tidies away his bath toys and whispers goodnight to them then starts brushing his teeth before heading downstairs for a drink and then going to bed with his teddy friends.

During the night while all was quiet and still in the house something strange started happen Shiny and Mid-Knight were startled by a funny noise coming from Denny and Alfonso’s Bedroom Ow my Shiny says Mid-Knight what’s that noise I sure do hope it doesn’t wake anyone else up around the house.
