Sometimes

Darkness – it tells of the absence of light. It is said of the need of oxygen for combustion to take place. The presence or absence of certain elements in nature always tells a story. Life itself is a story – some aspects of the story are hidden and are only revealed in the presence or absence of certain elements. Sometimes you need to be in dire straits to know- to know your enemies from your friends. Sometimes you need to be in a mess to know your true friends from your friends. Some people only come around when there is a party. When the party is over, you are over. Truths are revealed so we can understand. They are revealed so we can make corrections. When those ‘sometimes’ come, learn the lessons and be a student of truth. Don’t go back living in misery after the mystery in unraveled. Live life learning; OUR FORE BEARERS SURVIVED BY LEARNING.
