One day there was a young girl walking home from school when she saw a old man sitting against the trunk of a tree as she passed him he jumped onto the branch and said hey there woyld u like to hear a story the little girl was careful and said i would listen to your story but u must not come down from the branch i do promise said the old man so the little girl stopped to hear his story she was very inmpresed by the tale of a princess and a dragon that she asked him if she could bring a friend tomorrow he agreed and she went off home the nxt day she had her friend with her and the old man was waiting he told the children two great stories they found iut the old man would be at that tree every day they took more and more children to listen to the story teller the years went by untill the little girl was grown she had finished high school and went to see her friend in the tree but he had aged and wassick the girl asked him could she help himt he and then closed his eyes and died
the girl sat next to the man called help to take his frail old body away the nxt day she woke early and walked down the road to the tree to let all the 100 children know she was the new story teller andshe would share the old man's story to the end
