SYNOPSIS: This is my weekend writing column for a review of a poem from a selected author. This Column is being titled as " Sunday Musings " with a view to feature an in-depth analysis of  any one of the poems from the previous weeks winning nominations, selected by me at random to avoid the elaborate review or comment postings  by me in the usual comments column. Cherie Sumner's almost all poems are great success and have won the nominations; hence it was very difficult to choose the best one for my review. However, I shall plan this column in such a way to accommodate almost all style of poems by all poets and poetess of COSMOFUNNEL, which I hope will give more room for encouragement and inspirations to write. The poems selected are purely from my own liking and discretion and has nothing to do with the ratings, voting and nomination aspects. Hope, readers will understand my view point and enjoy my writing. My views and interpretations in this column are purely my own observations, and it has nothing to do with the personal life of the author of the poem. I regret for the late posting of this column as I was bit busy with the celebrations of my second daughter MADONNA WILLIAMS wedding held on Saturday, 25th at St. Mary's Church in Kattoor, Trichur District, Kerala in India.  I am eager to read your feed-backs.  The  poem which  I have taken-up for this Sunday Musings is this " My Cup Runneth Over "

My Cup Runneth Over

Tonight, in us, I sense a new intense confidence
With displays of affection, desire wields dominance
Your deep loving gaze is a sword piercing my soul
The emotional tension spirals out of control

( "My Cup Runneth Over", the title of Cherie Sumner's poem is a quote from the Hebrew Bible  and the word means "I have more than enough for my needs"."The Sword That Pierced My Soul"is a title of a famous book by Barbara Hodgson )

The nature of our passion will not compromise
A mystery to explore, filled with sensual surprise
Let my desirous ache be your just persuasion
To direct our love’s overtly zealous occasion

( Desirous ache grows when body gets warmed up., inviting for a a glimpse of desires, followed by an undefined ache )

Take me boldly, seductively and courageous
Fill me up with your love, kisses are contagious
Imprint upon my skin, find your open invitation
Penetrate through with explosive motivation

( Very sensual and romantic lines from the golden pen of Cherie Sumner. She is a poetess of love and emotions. I truly love her verses, All are fabulous and lovely, My applause to Poetess )

I seek release into your sexy masculinity
Surge within the cavern of my femininity
Touch what quivers for your sanctified burning heat
Rise in rhythmic glory, infuse until deplete

( Here Poetess Cherie Sumner compares the beauty of both the masculinity and femininity. Women who smile are absolutely very attractive.)

Yes, beloved! Take your fill! Drink from my loving cup!
An internal fountain, Mount Vesuvius erupts
Your love – a Holy Chalice, red wine of my life’s thrill
My cup runneth over…………….. Yet, I crave a refill

( The usage of "Drink from my loving cup " is amazing and alluring phrase. Congrats to Poetess Cherie Sumner )

Sexual attraction between men and women is a natural phenomenon. It is still a mystery. Physiologists, Scientists and artists, all alike have long tried to crack the supernatural formula of masculine and feminine attractions among humans. Although healthy and strong, men lack the qualities that women desire in a long-term romantic partnership.
