SYNOPSIS: This is my weekend writing column for a review of a poem from a selected author. This Column is being titled as "Sunday Musings " with a view to feature an in-depth analysis of any one of the poems from the previous weeks postings, selected by me at random to avoid the elaborate review or comment postings by me in the usual comments column. Poetess Cherie Sumner's almost all poems are great success, and have won much appreciations and comments from COSMO viewers. Hence it was very difficult to choose the best one for my review. However, I shall plan this column in such a way to accommodate almost all style of poems by all poets and poetess of COSMOFUNNEL, which I hope will give more room for encouragement and inspirations to write. The poems selected are purely from my own liking and discretion and has nothing to do with the ratings, voting and favorite aspects. Hope, readers will understand my view point and enjoy my writing. My views and interpretations in this column are purely my own observations, and it has nothing to do with the personal life of the author of the poem. I am eager to read your feed-backs. The poem which I have taken-up for this Sunday Musings is Poetess Cherie Sumner's verse titled "Her Modesty "

It’s not that she embraces
Any kind of formality
Nor is she prudish with a
Harsh judging mentality
With propriety of manner,
She exhibits a shy mood
Her withdrawal comes from
Insecurities, being viewed nude
(Art of nakedness in dark is considered as the beauty of men and women, The strange thing is that everyone likes it, but none will accept the concept )
She feels vulnerable, exposed,
Unsure, and assailable
Desiring love, yet portraying herself
As unavailable
To drop her protecting guard
Makes her susceptible to pain
A compromise to security,
So she covers herself again
(Nudity and beauty of women in all its forms portrait of woman, erotic, sexy, lingerie, bikini, striptease, Playboy and more is not ugly, but real beauty from God Almighty)
He tells her she is beautiful,
Impressed with her lack of conceit
His hands run along her inviting curves,
Imposing no retreat
His gentle kiss disarms her fears,
Until she drops her cover
She responds to the calming touch
Of one determined lover
(Nudity is the costume of lovers and artistes. Nakedness reveals itself. Nudity is placed on display. The nude is condemned to never being naked. Nudity is a form of dress, covering or discovering your soul)
He shows the true worth of her soul,
Expressed in honesty
No need to hide away,
Or feel ashamed in her modesty
Her flesh tingles as they mingle
In their Garden of Eden
Recreated Adam and Eve,
Exposure she could believe in
(I find people better looking without clothes than with clothes. You can go to a gym and go to a steam room and you see someone and think, He's really handsome)

In the NUDE, all that is not beautiful is obscene. It says that nudity is an essential part of all primitive agricultural rites ... By unveiling the body, and especially the sexual organs, women more effectually represented the goddess of fertility, and more effectually as her representatives, or through their own powers, magically conveyed fertility to the fields.
Religious strictures are often the source of attitudes toward nudity. Society urges the wearing of clothing partially as a means of controlling the powerful sexual urges that are feared will be released by nudity, causing chaotic behavior.
Remember the full nakedness is from God; All joys are due from His own reactivity and spiritual activity; As souls unbodied, bodies unclothed must be to taste the whole of love and pleasure in our life-time.
Dear mother poetess of Love, honorable Poetess Cherie Sumner, this is a beautiful verse from your golden pen and loveable heart, please accept my congratulations fro sharing this with us. God bless, Regards & Love,
WILLIAMSJI MAVELI
