 My Sunday Greetings to COSMOFUNNEL Administration, to all authors, artistes and viewers

SYNOPSIS: This is my weekend writing column for a review of a poem from a selected author. This Column is being titled as "Sunday Musings " with a view to feature an in-depth analysis of  any one of the poems from the previous weeks postings, selected by me at random to avoid the elaborate review or comment postings  by me in the usual comments column. Poetess Cherie Sumner's almost all poems are great success and have won the appreciations from COSMO viewers and authors. Hence it was very difficult to choose the best one for my review. However, I shall plan this column in such a way to accommodate almost all style of poems by all poets and poetess of COSMOFUNNEL, which I hope will give more room for encouragement and inspirations to write. The poems selected are purely from my own liking and discretion and has nothing to do with the ratings, voting and favorite aspects. Hope, readers will understand my view point and enjoy my writing. My views and interpretations in this column are purely my own observations, and it has nothing to do with the personal life of the author of the poem. I am eager to read your feed-backs.  The  poem which  I have taken-up for this Sunday Musings is " Beyond Anger and Hurt.....A Forever Love Song " written by Poetess Cherie Sumner.

Beyond Anger and Hurt.....A Forever Love Song

There is so much respect, sincere admiration
For your strong loving soul, my gracing salvation  
No doubt, God designated you my one soul mate
My heart feels the tug of true love’s infinite fate

(Are you fully comfortable and relaxed with your loved ones?, if you've known him or her for a long time. Soul mates often have a "feeling like they already knew each other" before they even met each other at any point of time)

When raw emotions escalated in the night
It scared me, the intensity of our hurtful fight
Fears made me behave in ways I do not understand
Do you know, despite my poor show, I still craved your hand?

(Soul mates, actually have met before, in their past lives. Whether this is true and whether you believe it or not it doesn't really matter. The fact is that soul mates have a fundamental energy bond that they both feel from the very beginning.)

Beyond anger and hurt, my love for you is deep
Every promise I make, you can believe I will keep
What we have is worth any fight that comes along
My convicted belief in us is a forever love song

(Soul-mates cannot explain it, but it feels like they've known each other longer than they actually have. They feel at ease with each other, like they could say or do anything they could with an old friend. The comfort level is extremely high between the soul mates.)

I cannot stand the distance; it hurts living apart
Frustration builds, when I misread your secret heart
We both need to be held, recognize eyes that validate,
Our stubborn personalities tend to miscalculate  

(Your most important life values are a match. Soul mates almost always agree on important things in life. It means that they share different values, from spiritual to materialistic, and they agree on many things from where they want to live to how they spend their free time. )

There is a beautiful spirit running between us
An intense chemistry with no need to discuss
The mystery of you and me is how to achieve
A fair battleground, where we feel safe reprieve

(Soul-mates do not necessarily have to have all the same interests, but they certainly share the most significant ones. This means the same interest may vary from couple to couple.)

One thing I know for sure, this love is so intense
A disagreement will not leave us straddling a fence
You have my dedication, full support, unconditionally
I never question my love for you, or where I want to be

(When you make love, it is deeply or highly sensual, as well as extremely passionate and satisfying.)

Last night, beyond anger and hurt, played a love song
Sung in my heart, across the miles, I felt you sing along
Our forever love song, holding us under the moon
God was humming along with us, the very same tune

The physical expression of love between soul mates is just as powerful as their emotional and spiritual bond. When soul mates come together physically, it is more than just a bodily or physical  act. It is their deep spiritual connection materializing into tangible form. That's why the intensity and passion level between soul mates is usually much higher than that of regular couples. The deep connection that you feel in the loved category  from within will also undoubtedly be expressed from without in a soul mate relationship.

Many of us usually think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that's what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.

A true soul mate is probably the most important person you'll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? No, It is too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then leave.

A soul mates purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, make you so desperate and out of control that you have to transform your life, then introduce you to your spiritual master.
