My  Sunday Day Greetings to COSMOFUNNEL Administration, to all authors, artistes and viewers

________________________________________

SYNOPSIS: This is my weekend writing column for a review of a poem from a selected author. This Column is being titled as " Sunday Musings " with a view to feature an in-depth analysis of  any one of the poems from the previous weeks winning votes and nominations, selected by me at random to avoid the elaborate review or comment postings  by me in the usual comments column. Cherie Sumner's almost all poems are great success and have won the nominations; hence it was very difficult to choose the best one for my review. However, I shall plan this column in such a way to accommodate almost all style of poems by all poets and poetess of COSMOFUNNEL, which I hope will give more room for encouragement and inspirations to write. The poems selected are purely from my own liking and discretion and has nothing to do with the ratings, voting and nomination aspects. Hope, readers will understand my view point and enjoy my writing. My views and interpretations in this column are purely my own observations, and it has nothing to do with the personal life of the author of the poem.  I am eager to read your feed-backs.  The  poem which  I have taken-up for this Sunday Musings is this " Our Love's Epiphany "

  • Our Love's Epiphany
  • By Poetess Cherie Sumner

A divine manifestation, when you found me
Angels prostrated, by our love’s epiphany
There’s velvet in your voice, tenderness sincere
Melting effervescence, in your laughter so dear

(The word epiphany has been originated from Greek, which means   appearance, or a striking manifestation.)

You hold me gently, this wild orchid in your hand
Inhale me like fragrance, as I try to understand
How I deserve such loving attention and grace
From a butterfly spirit, claiming me his landing place

(Words like love and grace are the two inseparable, but the idea of grace will form the greatest expression of God’s love because of what it encompasses.)

Yet, I cherish being the heart you call your home
Where sanctity of love is free to frolic and roam
Spent my life waiting, anticipating to feel
Alive, burning and churning with passion’s appeal

(Good rhymes and feel in the above lines. Human body is created in God’s own image, but sin has corrupted that image. There is nothing inherently sacred in fallen man. The sanctity of human life is not due to the fact that we are such wonderful and good beings)

Guitar chords play your vibrating seductive song
But your heartbeat’s melody seduced me all along
I crave for your missed touch; no more deprivation
Dive in deep; fuel my desire’s intoxication

(Excellent ending rhymes are each lines. Great write.  Grace brings love into life. God is equal parts of love and justice, which is why so sin separates us from Godliness. To speak only of, or even to solely introduce God as, love, is to facilitate an ago for us)

A cocoon of love, wrapped up in sweet sensations
Our bodies react to heat when fire strikes creation
You possess my soul with obsessive affection
In the rhythm of love, our flesh confirms perfection

(Here Poetess Cherie Sumner gets involved into a divine indication and a symptom of love which she expresses in a celestial language from her own beautiful soul)

Effortlessly, we make love a spiritual dance
Conforming to each other’s skin, in sensual trance
With Intense pleasures beyond serendipity
An everlasting kiss; in this - our love’s epiphany

(The sanctity of life means that humanity is more sacred than the rest of creation. Human life is not holy in the same sense that God is holy)

READ BETWEEN THE LINES....

Seductive love verses are a sensuous form of word foreplay that can increase the intensity of intimacy and pleasure in a romantic relationship. It's all about describing feelings and emotions - pulling your senses into the battle peppered with pure love words and expressions. So, I love the below seductive love lines to turn up the heat and passion in my own love life.

The word epiphany has been originated from Greek, which means   "manifestation, or a striking appearance". It is an experience of sudden and striking realization. Generally the term is used to describe scientific breakthrough, religious or philosophical discoveries, but it can apply in any situation in which an enlightening realization allows a problem or situation to be understood from a new and deeper perspective. Epiphanies are studied by psychologists and other scholars, particularly those attempting to study the process of innovations or inventions.

Please accept my congratulations for sharing this wonderful poem to our COSMO readers, May God bless you and wish you happy writings in future.
