My Sunday Day Greetings to COSMOFUNNEL Administration, to all authors, artistes and viewers
________________________________________
SYNOPSIS: This is my weekend writing column for a review of a poem from a selected author. This Column is being titled as " Sunday Musings " with a view to feature an in-depth analysis of  any one of the poems from the previous weeks winning nominations, selected by me at random to avoid the elaborate review or comment postings  by me in the usual comments column. Cherie Sumner's almost all poems are great success and have won the nominations; hence it was very difficult to choose the best one for my review. However, I shall plan this column in such a way to accommodate almost all style of poems by all poets and poetess of COSMOFUNNEL, which I hope will give more room for encouragement and inspirations to write. The poems selected are purely from my own liking and discretion and has nothing to do with the ratings, voting and nomination aspects. Hope, readers will understand my view point and enjoy my writing. My views and interpretations in this column are purely my own observations, and it has nothing to do with the personal life of the author of the poem.  I am eager to read your feed-backs.  The  poem which I have taken-up for this Sunday Musings is this " In His Reflection "

An enchanted pool of water flowed through the woods
A mystical creek with powers misunderstood
By most it was overlooked, left alone without demand
Others found its treasure, for humbled to understand
(In His (God's) reflections of love, the holy  water , we have the final depiction of how much God loved us, how much He was willing to endure and suffer to save us. Great beginning of a verse, both good in spiritual and emotional elements, Congrats dear Poetess, Cherie Sumner, for a good start of a nice poem from your magical pen)
For the creek held living waters from The Divine
Those seeking truth and glory, worshiped at this shrine
Even the most tarnished soul, with a sinner’s complexion
Could peer into its depths, and see God’s reflection Â
(When I see a cross, I pray, "Jesus, guide my life and my work. Words cannot communicate what I owe you; help me to express this debt in how I live, love, work. Protect and save the ones I love. Let those who are far away know that I care for them. Let those who are close see my love in my words and actions. Let my love be but a tiny reflection. The words and lines are so live and simple for reader's appreciation)
One searching woman, named Grace, whose life fell apart
Stumbled upon the creek, with pleading in her heart
She laid herself down in weeping supplication
Her tears touched the water, stirring up vibrations
(God also desires us to love. It is part of God’s vision for humanity, part of God’s original design – to search for love, get love and to give love, tears of woman named Grace is a good symbolic expressions used in this poem. we would love and care for each other in our surroundings and community. And so God, calls us to love all those whom we meet, even those we’d rather pass by. God wants us to be like sharing love each other, irrespective of sex, cast and creed)
Grace gazed into the pool, drawing close to its allure
Her weepy mind grasped peace, and her heart felt pure
Surrounded by light, with lilac flowers in her hair
She sprouted angel wings; God’s love beamed everywhere
(Love is intangible and  is simple and clear. But love in the real world, in real relationships, in real workplaces and families and communities is not so simple. If love were simple and easy, we’d all be doing it! But in fact, there is a shortage of love in this current world. Poetess Cherie Sumner's expression like " Her weepy mind grasped peace" is an excellent example of a symbolic poem)
An image of perfection showed her sinless soul
The way The Lord viewed her, when His love made her whole
A mirrored spirit of Grace in pure quickened state
One she could believe in, God’s truthful translate
(God also requests us to love. It is part of God’s vision for humanity, part of God’s original design – that we would love and care for each other in community. And so Lord calls us to love all those whom we meet, not only to those who are just on passers. God's love gets automatically translated to the entire mankind)
She smiled at the altered vision of her beauty
Amazed at feeling released from sin’s warped duty
The world had no hold on her, no insurrection
She felt God’s intense love, viewed in His reflection
( This is very narrative in style. Excellent. We love because of the intrinsic worth of the other as one of God’s creatures, but we do not whitewash all people with the same inherent worth – a bland, faceless love for everyone.)
When she arose from the water and walked away
Her poor self-perception changed, His truthful one stayed
She knew her purpose - as God’s daughter of delight
A part of Him forever, inside she held his light
(When we arose from the water and drink up God’s love, we are filled with Holy Spirit, and Spirit then flows out from within us like a stream of living water)
We may not all stumble upon this sacred creek
But we may all have the power of its mystique
The Spirit lives within, promising vitalityÂ
Christ’s gift at His return - our immortality
( It is part of God’s vision for humanity, part of God’s original design – that we would love and care for each other in community. God desires for our hearts to be aligned with God’s heart. When we are filled with the Spirit of God, how can that love not overflow to those around us? In the same way that God’s superabundance of love spills out into the creation of the cosmos, the abundance of God’s love in us, as we are filled with Spirit, should pour into our relationships, our work, our play, , our world )

The poem is spiritual in its composition and style, narrated like a beautiful story. Life is always challenging. Love is initiated by ourselves and in an unconditional way – we choose to love because we choose to love, not because the person is love-worthy. We love because of the inherent worth of the other as one of God’s creatures, Give faceless love for everyone. Lords Love emphasizes recognition of unique and really worth; that is, extended to ourselves to seek out particular aspects of that individual that are loveable and even likable. And it is two-way, seeking not only to express love at arm’s length, but also to establish relationship, communion, and fellowship. And all of this is just the way God loves and makes all others to love other individuals. This kind of love is trans formative.
This sounds rather peaceful. You and I know that this does not happen easily. Love in the abstract is simple and clear. But love in the real world, in real relationships, in real workplaces and families and communities are not so simple. If love were simple and easy, we’d all be doing it! But in fact, there is a dearth of love in the world.
We cannot love like God in our own strength. We have to rely on the Spirit of God, the Love of God, to enable us to love. It is as we allow Spirit to fill us with God’s love that we something to offer.
Dear Poetess Cherie Sumner, Please accept my congratulations for your success in COSMOFUNNEL SITE and on your new title as the "AMBASSADOR OF THE MONTH) . Wish you good luck in your future assignments and writing career. May God bless you
