SYNOPSIS: This is my weekend writing column for a review of a poem from a selected author. This Column is being titled as " Sunday Musings " with a view to feature an in-depth analysis of  any one of the poems from the previous weeks winning nominations, selected by me at random to avoid the elaborate review or comment postings  by me in the usual comments column. Cherie Sumner's almost all poems are great success and have won the nominations; hence it was very difficult to choose the best one for my review. However, I shall plan this column in such a way to accommodate almost all style of poems by all poets and poetess of COSMOFUNNEL, which I hope will give more room for encouragement and inspirations to write. The poems selected are purely from my own liking and discretion and has nothing to do with the ratings, voting and nomination aspects. Hope, readers will understand my view point and enjoy my writing. My views and interpretations in this column are purely my own observations, and it has nothing to do with the personal life of the author of the poem.  I am eager to read your feed-backs.  The poem which  I have taken-up for this Sunday Musings is this "

• Surrender of Celebration"

You make the wrongs of my past disappear
Over and over again it is clear  
Your spirit calls mine out to reinvent
The lifetime in vain that I have spent
Spinning in endless circles, to never find
Your precious heart of light, the healing kind

(Difficulties from wrong things may occur in life, but consider that they are small incidents in life, and all this are better things; they are the stepping stones to much greater experience.  Perhaps someday you will be thankful for some temporary failure in a particular direction.  When one door closes, another always opens)

You lead me to tranquil waters to drink
The essence of passion right on the brink
Of taking me to places new and exciting
Desires in your touch, warm and inviting
Where surrender surges in sensual chills
Seeking to understand your calling thrills

(God promised to give us the desires of the hearts in love. However, the desire reveals the real principle for purifying our bodily desires and issues, calling for devotion. To get delight in those means to take pleasure in discovering more from love.)

Only you know my soul’s lost churning fire
You can release the trust that I require
To relinquish control in complete belief
Safe within your love I will find my relief
That until now has been a mystery
Yet here….. I willingly hand you the key

 (It is important for us to know the true definition of " Surrender of Celebration" .create space to surrender. Love this invitation. Spirits of Joy introduced and involved give us more space to learn on belief's and life mysteries)

 
This first release into true paradise
Forever follows without asking price
I want the one right chance to surrender
The perfect time for us to remember   
Our sacred love is worth preservation
Then, share it all in our celebration

(God wants to be the greatest passion of every believer's life. If we claim to love the Lord, our relationship with Him should have priority over possessions, vocation, and even other relationships. our heart's desires with His, which always puts us in position to experience His blessings)

READ BETWEEN THE LINES

Love is the very essence and the spirit of human life. It is the container of gold at the end of the love rainbow. Love is at the beginning as well as at the end. It also springs from the real beauty that arched across the sky on a violent day. Love is the security for which you weep, the hunger for food, the adhesive that binds marriage, and the lubricant that prevents devastating friction in the home; it is the peace of old age, the sunlight of hope shining through death. How rich are those who enjoy it in their associations with family, friends, and neighbors! Love, like faith, is a gift of God. It is also the most enduring and most powerful virtue.

Sure, our existence  on earth and our living in this universe is for capturing the essence of love and life, Everyone goes through their life every day with a vial, a vial wherein can be found precious essentials of all kinds of love. A lot of things are inherent in life -alter, dawn, demise, aging, illness, accidents, calamities, and losses of all kinds- but these events don't have to be the cause of ongoing suffering. Yes, these events cause grief and agonies, but grief and sadness pass, like everything else, and are replaced with other experiences, like joy and happiness, . The ego, however, clings to negative thoughts and feelings and, as a result, magnifies, intensifies, and sustains those emotions while the ego overlooks the subtle feelings of joy, gratitude, excitement, adventure, love, and peace that come from Essence. If we dwelt on these positive states as much as we generally dwell on our negative thoughts and painful emotions, our lives would be transformed. Poetess Cherie Sumner is a great author, and a charming personality in COSMO, our family site, We all share, our love, sorrows and dilemma's in life.
