the affair

How is it wrong when it feels so right?
She has you all week all I ask is for a night,
You were mine first so it only seems fair,
For at night I lie in bed alone and in despair,
I have a boyfriend, who does not care for my needs,
He has a girlfriend, who does not care for his needs,
Late at night when my boyfriend is asleep I text him,
Late at night when his girlfriend is not home, he calls me,
when were at school i get such rushes,
for when we can we sneak in closets,
My family says we are no good,
But they don’t understand we would stop if we could,
They know of our late night escapades,
They hope that it is only a phase,
And deep down in our others spouses hearts,
They know they cannot compete where they do not compare.
However, they constantly try because they want us to care.  
No one understands the guilt we have within for having an affair with a lover,
Nevertheless, we do not ask that anyone understands because we have each other.
