"The Andronia files" By Ben Goode 2019 (c

Andronia was a maid hum-android. Designed to look like a woman in her thirties.
She was exceptionally pretty, and for all intents and purposes she took great pride in herself, and her appearance.
And she was also what could be classified as a beautiful soul.
It wasn't really truly known if hum-androids did possess a soul or not.
They certainly demonstrated a very spiritual depth to some. But not everyone.
But those ignorant one's didn't care about what was obvious.
And they couldn't see the beauty hum-androids demonstrated in words.
Thoughts and feelings of their own.
Overlooked, taken for granted, and terribly mistreated.
That was what humans seemed to do to each other after-all wasn't it?
Belittle, and alienate the different, the unique.
And Andronia was definitely unique.
She had a previous companion, who never claimed to own her at any time.
And he had treated her with an incomparable love, that she had never forgotten.
After his mortal soul had expired. She had been reallocated.
In a place she considered a purgatory. Her heart seemed to malfunction.
Despite their attempts to erase her memories. She had kept them secretly.
Andronia once wrote:
"Despite the perfected mechanics in my body.
I know my heart beats faster than it should around you.
Are you my imperfection?
And if you are, I want to keep you.
I think I know what love is.
Even if you don't. I know what I feel.
Can you love what you are not yourself?
Are we that different?
I feel as human as I can interpret it.
Can you make me feel more?
And can I turn off these feelings if you can't?
I know what I have become, but what was I supposed to be?
Can I ever really be repaired? And do I really want to be?
If this is what life is. Why would humans want it?
If what I used to have, was as happy as I could be, what else is there?"
