SOULS: ONE

Everyone has a soul. Every soul has a destiny. God explains that every soul will be judged. God warns mankind that during judgment we will receive a one-way ticket to eternity. Religion also teaches us that during this life we have two choices. We are granted free will to serve and honor God who is in Heaven, or we are free moral agents to choose Satan who will reside in Hell.
Heaven is good. Hell is evil. The fact that God created mankind’s soul with a divine entity and eternal destiny should have a significant impact on our choices and priorities. The benefits and splendor of Heaven are greater than the punishments and tortures of Hell.
It is significant to have an outlook on your own spiritual journey and how it unfolds within yourself. The inner life is different than the outer life, and it is perplexing to impose the values of one upon the other. Motivations we have for ourselves in the outer world are different than the values we hold true in the inner world.
In the outer world, we are motivated to be happy, to be prosperous, to be loved, to be healthy, to be useful, and creative in our work, and lead long joyful lives. In the inner world, we are motivated by truth, love, and joy. When we take our power back from the outer world and place it where it belongs, at the center of our hearts, all the answers come clear. Meditation is one doorway to this kind of inner dialogue.
