"The old Scorpio lady" By Ben Goode 2014 (c)

The ghosts of time whispered "You are now so old, you never go places, you do as you're told."
"I can't move a muscle,Β I am in such pain, I'll never see the darned sunset, again!"
A young nurse came in then, the old lady smiled. "Can you take me outside for awhile?" "I cannot do that, please rest your head, please come now lady now get back to bed!" The nurse left the room, the old lady cried.
"I was supposed to go out, by golly they lied!" The old woman sat up and got in her chair. "I will teach them by jingo, I just do not care!" The lady moved forward with all of her might. She went pretty quickly, and stayed out of sight.
She wheeled through the corridors, and down on the lift. Escape seemed to be the old ladies gift.
She went through the main door, and reached the outside. Her heart was now racing, it had been quite a ride.
Sure enough there, as if meant to be, the sun was now setting, gently into the sea.
She looked at it there and smiled "That's just fine" Her eyes closed just then, for it was her time.
So let this old story be a lesson that's true, who is this kind of old person to you?
