The restuarant

The sun was dipping over the horizon
The calm waves of the ocean smashed gently among the rocks
She sat at an empty table finishing off her dinner...the restuarant balcony strectched over the cliff and viewed the white sandy beach and marvelous ocean
the wind gushed through her hair and she looked up to admire the scenery...
Staring at the children playing in the sand she started to drift...farther and farther in her thoughts...until she landed in her past
She was 17 when she lost her parents
The world never seemed to have stopped until the day it happened...
All was destroyed...there was no meaning anymore...why live....when there was nothing to live for
She held her brothers and cried...
Comforting them..saying its ok
But nobody comforted her...she had to be strong on her own...she had to go on and make her parents proud...they wouldnt want her to give up and lose...and she knew what she had to do
Every night she would go to bed...thinking of them...of the memories created and shared....it gave her strength...it gave her drive
In the years to come she made it...finally graduating and becoming what she wanted... that night on her bed she held her breath and said
Thank you mum..thank you dad...for guiding me and giving me strength...
A tear streamed down her cheek and she wiped it away with a smile and went to sleep
The clouds crept down and it started to get dark....she felt a touch on her shoulder and pulled back to reality
She had tears in her eyes and didnt even realise it...she looked up to the evening sky and tried to focus her vision on the tall figure standing beside her holding her shoulder....as she started to see clearly she couldnt help but feel a chill go down her back....for some reason...she wanted to jump up and hug him till he choked...but she knew that was inappropriate
The tall figure had light blue eyes and dark lushous hair and appeared as if it had'nt been groomed for a while....
He gave a warm smile and said, we're about to close..are you ok ma'am?
Yes she replied...im...er..fine
He wasnt convinced and sat down at the opposite end...
Tell me he said....
