THE SECRET GARDEN

Once upon a time there was a beautiful, secret, magic garden.

And surrounded by fairy rings, buttercups and daisies

Was a beautiful little green courgette!

And her name was little Miss Georgette.

One day all the little fairies decided that they were going to hold a beauty competition!

So Miss Georgette decided to enter it with all her friends for a bet!

Mister sun was brightly shining down on them, as he praised Miss Georgette for her stunning beauty!

Then he said to her  " Miss Georgette I think you will soon be wearing that beautiful golden crown on your pretty head "

They were all so excited and that night they snuggled up so that they were all nice and warm.

And they all slept under the silver moon quite soundly, through till the early dawn.

The next day bright and early, they all began to preen with such a lot of care!

When Miss Georgette said to her friends " Oh I wish I had some beautiful nice long green hair! "

Just then a little magic fairy heard her special wish and decided to grant it with such glee!

Miss Georgette was so surprised when she looked in the magic mirror!

Shocked, she exclaimed " Oh my goodness gracious me!

Little fairy! I look such a sight!

It`s the wrong colour!

Oh little fairy won`t you please put it right!! "

Then the fairy chuckled and said " See Miss Georgette! that`s what happens when you have such vanity! "

Miss Georgette cried and she pleaded so much for the little fairies help!

So eventually the fairy relented and said " Forgive me Miss Georgette! I must have chosen the wrong magic spell! "

Miss Georgette was so thrilled when her lovely new hair turned a beautiful shade of green!

" Oh you`re such a clever little fairy, thank you so much, now all over the world, I`m fit to be seen "

Just then a little buzzy bee who was all orange stripes and buzz! landed on her pretty little nose!

Miss Georgette jumped and got such a fright!!

Then she cried " Oh now look what you`ve done little buzzy bee! gosh now I look such a sight! "

Then she exclaimed " You`ve made a dirty mark on my little nose!

Just look at me now, it will be seen by everyone, when Judge Bert comes along for my turn! "

Her cheeks went such a bright shade of red! oh gosh! they did burn!

She sat there feeling sorry for herself, ever so much!!

And she cried out to the little bee " Now I`ll be lucky if Judge Bert even takes a look! "

Just then the little fairy had a brilliant idea, that she thought was so very good!!

She quickly fetched her special magic eye shadow, that was a stunning bright shade of green!

Then she carefully brushed it onto Miss Georgette`s pretty little nose and told her to look in her magic mirror!

Miss Georgette was so thrilled that she declared " Oh look little fairy! now I`ll be happy to be seen "

When Judge Bert came along and he reached her in the queue

He smiled brightly and then totally amazed Miss Georgette and her friends! because he decided to award her the 1st prize!

There was now a brilliant twinkle in Miss Georgette`s beautiful big blue eyes!

She skipped and danced all day long and declared " Gosh I really can`t believe that beautiful golden crown is really mine. "

She was laughing, smiling, and dancing so much! that it began to hurt!

Then she ran up to Judge Bert and gave him a great big hug!

Then she kissed him on the cheek! and whispered " I can hardly believe I`ve won! oh thank you so much Judge Burt "

Then the fairy laughed and declared " Now that`s what I call magic! see Miss Georgette! a little bit of magic make-up never hurts "
