There is Power in a TRAY!
There is power in a Tray!
Funniest argument I remember having with my ex during our relationship was... fighting for a tray at Game store! His father was landing in SA from work and I was going to meet him for the first time so I went all out, cooking his dad's favourite meal and all (been taking notes. HAHA!) ...at the meantime as we wait for him we went to the shops to buy a bit of what's left to finish preparing for dinner... My ex didn't have a tray to serve guest's food with in his house.
So I suggested we buy a tray so I can be able to serve his dad with respect but he couldn't get it. And so he argued that while I kept quiet, till he was done, I took the tray. I was so humble that I didn't care how mad he was getting saying his dad is easy so tray won't matter to him I can just give him the plate, and so I refused. I wanted things to go in order because there is no way I would serve without a tray. At home they taught me well and so finally I met his dad, he was so joyful and happy to finally meet me and when I served him, he felt special, important, respected, honoured and welcomed... :-) Thinking of this brings joy to me. I learnt so much from this relationship.
People, there is special power in a TRAY! (Tray symbolizes Serving! - As to how you are and who you are.)
Men may not understand it but I believe gentlemen do.
Tray opens doors for you. Small things truly matter and we miss it. Sounds stupid but it's true.
Specially to women - never serve without a tray, it shows respect, humbleness and willing to serve with kindness, honour and it makes one feel special and important and truly reveals the inner you to another - simply by how you serve! And how you serve others is truly how you serve God.
You didn't see this coming didn't you? Tip that for free. ?
