Trusting God through difficult circumstances

Hi, my name is Kathryn Williams. I am a single woman who has lived with illness all of her adult life. Right now I am going through a difficult time with my health and waiting to hear on the results of an MRI that I had recently had. Waiting is a difficult thing especially when you have health problems and don't know what is wrong. All things come to mind and you begin to worry that something seriously is wrong with you and wonder if you will ever enjoy health again.

This is where God comes in and where you need to trust him fully. But like every human being I too tend to worry and wonder how my life got to be this way? In spite of everything I know that I have a lot to be thankful for and being thankful when things are not going well is half the battle. None of us knows what tomorrow will bring or if we will live to see another day. When trouble comes whether or not you are facing a health issue, a financial issue, or a family issue you need to believe in a higher power. God has always been there for me no matter what I was facing at the time. I know he is always there and I could not face the hardships in my life without him.

He has blessed me more then words can ever say. Right now I am facing a scary time in my life but my faith in God is strong. He is my Rock and my fortress. Who do turn to when times are tough and you feel scared and alone. I have many good friends and family but sometimes they let me down and vise versa because that is part of being human. But God NEVER lets us down. He is always there for us. I look outside my window and see the beautiful autumn leaves and watch the birds sitting in the tree and know God created them.

I don't know what I am facing medically. It may turn out to be a simple problem. It may turn out to be something serious. But whatever happens I know God is with me and with him I can get through anything. Today in our society there are many people who live with fear and don't know God. They rely on themselves or their friends and family to get them through their crisis. But God wants us to rely on Him because he is our Healer and Deliverer. He will get us through the storms in life if we look to him...
