When you gotta go, you gotta go
When I was 12 a new girl came to our class. Her name was Cadence, she was short and pretty and was one of the most cheerful girls I knew. We bonded pretty well and soon becomes bfs. One day she was rushed to the hospital as she started vomiting blood and her nose bled. I was very worried about her and went to the hospital. I went inside her room. She looked pale and tired but her lovely blue eyes where as blue as ever. She started chatting with me as if she didn't vomit blood and nothing happened to her at all. Maybe nothing did happen I thought. But anyway I continued talking with her and decided to spent the night in the hospital with Cadence. The next morning when I woke up I saw that cadence was asleep. I peered closer to her head that I found so disturbing that I gasped. Her lovely blonde hair was a wig!! Cadence woke to find me looking at her like she was some kind of monster. She pulled of her wig and told me "I have leukemia" It shocked me so much then I thought she was joking  I started laughing cause she had fooled me. "I'm serious" she said. There was something in her voice that made me want to believe her but I couldn't accept it. My best friend my lovely Cadence couldn't die. I would not  accept it "you're joking" i managed to say through my lump at my throat "no I am not and you know it then why else are there tears in you eyes?" She asked.i couldn't hold it anymore I burst out crying. After a few days she was gone after all the pain she still died happy. Just before dying she said weakly "you gotta go when you gotta go, please don't cry for me anymore" and she was gone. She looked peaceful and happy making my breaking heart a reason to smile....
