Who do we really need to help (a paper I wrote in 2015)

Who do we really need to help
Recently there has been attacks in countries by ISIS. But what about the countries that have been in distress for years and years? There are countries that have been need help for so long and we have ignored it for that time. Getting america and other countries help has been what some countries need badly at this point. We have american red cross but why just have it here and not have one in every country,or something like it? Yes we should care about Paris and the others ISIS has attacked but why only care about them? we need to take a stand at one point and get our act together as a entire planet. we need to find ways to help each other and make the earth a better place. what is the point of living if we can't enjoy it? why not help clean the air and make it better to breathe, why not clean the forests and make them better for people to explore? We can do all of this but we are to lazy to get off our butts and try to actually make a difference. well 89% of us are. but the other 11% are trying to make our lives better and thiers. they care about us and we should be helping them do it. Instead of seeing it on tv and being happy that someone is finally doing something why don't we all have a month where we help the environment out and other countries that need our help? we should take a stand and help end world hunger, unemployment and homelessness. they are serious things that need to be taken care of. instead of buying new things you might need why not donate money or items to a charity? you can even send care packages to people in need. why don't we fill a bunch of large container with water and take it to people who need it or even just buy water filters for them so they can have a clean, drink when they need one? there is so much we can do but we need the motivation to do it and that's sad. we should wake up and say to ourselves “today i'm going to go help at a soup kitchen” or “I think i'll send some care packages to kids in africa and their families.” we can do anything as a planet if we could just get along and work together. we have so many people that would appreciate justing getting a sandwich once a day. yet we take advantages of the things we have and don't think about how other people might need the things more than we do. we need to stop being selfish people and start thinking about others we share this planet with. yes terrorists are a big concern but we need to be thinking about everyone, everywhere. we share this earth but we act like we are so much better than other countries. our generations to come will need a lot of help from us. we are going so technical with everything we are not even thinking about what it could do to our earth and how it will affect future generations. we need to teach this generation how to live better without all of this new tech stuff people are making. because you know what in the future something big could happen and they won't know what to, do because all they know how to rely on is technology. so instead of buying a new cell phone or laptop why don't you buy non perishable foods and drinks and send them to children and families in need? instead of littering or dumping why don't you take some time out of your day to find a trash can or take recyclables to a recycling center? there is so much we can do to help our earth and the people on it. all it takes is less than 7-8 hours a week if that. you can turn that 11% into 40% and maybe even 70%. but as long as you, as an individual can do something to change how our planet is and looks you have already been a huge part of the help we, need. so just get out there and help someone or something. whether it be planting some trees in a park, sending care packages, donating old shoes or clothes to other countries or even picking up garbage on the sidewalk or road. any action is a big action in the end.
