Why Sam? Why Berry?

If you read my bio, you'll know that I come from a small town in France.
So, no, my name isn't really Sam.
I actually found a website one day to figure out what my author's name would be.
And it asked what my favourite pet's name was? So I entered Sam because when I grew up, my dad had a very clever and gentle German Shepherd who happened to be called Sam. He died the same day as Lady Diana so I didn't know that dog very long.
And Berry is just a shortened version of my family name which I won't give here. So when the website in question gave me this suggestion for a name, I liked it and stuck with it to that day.
Because if ever one day I get to write a book that is sold worldwide, my name will be easier to pronounce for non-french speakers than my real one :D
