WILLIAMSJI MAVELI : Poetic Visions

The significance of poetic visions and dreams is key to humanity. Living without visions is like having a life but not living. And living without dreams is like living, but with no life. Vision is what we see, but it is also the way in which we see.
Vision is the conscious lens that interprets the events of our own life, the way we view people, and our concept of God. Whilst dreaming, can thus be defined as pictures or events seen while sleeping or through the subconscious mind. All visions and dreams are important to man in other to fulfill the individual destinies and collective purpose of God’s own creation. Thus, A man without a vision is a man without a future.
In poetry, reason and intellect were submissive and their place was taken by imaginations, emotions and passion. Poetry is a form of literary art which uses artistic and rhythmic qualities of a language—such as aesthetics, symbolism, and metre—to evoke meanings in addition to, or in place of, the characterless perceived meaning.
Love is expressed as an action and experienced as a feeling. Yet, love has an essence that resists defining in any single way — it encompasses compassion, determination, tolerance, endurance, support, faith, and much more. Light is the genesis of the world, the main expression of creation is "Let there be light," and the first act of creation is the distillation of light, its separation from darkness.
