A crown of fleeting hope adorns the head of a Negro girl

A flutter in the breeze of an unfulfilled...

I'm deeply saddened, knowing are relationship will falter
Facing the fact you'll no longer want to...

I get sometimes life gets hard but you cant give up, you cant put down your guard. You may think of dying...

I wanna be brilliant but unknown.

Its not the label I seek.

Would we even know when...

I wish— my God— you hadn't killed the sailor man.
Gathered to you grayish gut, we didn't doubt thee...

A purpose isn't something always given.

One can be taken, molded, and expressed.

Exposed...

Lord use me I am yours
Lord take my body and use me to open new doors
Allow me...

When the darkness takes over the path...

If I become lost on my way...

You are my light...

A plastic bag flies around in the awkward wind

crows yelling bloody murder in the trees

Is it too much to ask,

To change the world.

A brighter future for all,

Equality...

It's difficult to maintain hope through darkest days,

But piercing overbearing clouds are...
