The darkness.

I wish this night was nt endless

I wish sleep would come

I wish the words that hurt would nt keep playing in my head

The darkness waits to hug me, hold me oh so tight

Run its fingers down my spine and flash pictures of my past

A younger much more scared me plays the leading cast

One by one i visit all the ones that hurt

Then let them go and darkness takes them by the hand

I close my eyes and drift away to clouds in the sky

I wish sometimes that with the darkness i could make a friend
