I Wish

I wish my parents could read my poetry, instead of saying that it's useless and stupid...
Because it's not their language.

I wish I could publish my work...
But I'm in a country where everything's blocked.

I wish I could do something with my performance grade piano...
But I have no recording device.

I wish I could be successful...
But I've been rejected by publishers 30 times.

I wish I could contact my friends...
But I'm forced to live in a country where I have none.

I wish I could be healthy...
But I have herniated disks and need surgery.

And I wish I could even do surgery...
But the state of my body is too shit to even do that.
