I wish for a lazy week

I wish i could have a lazy week

No work to be done

No washing to be sorted

Or ironing to be done

My shopping would do its self

The house would stay clean and all in its place

Hair tied back and no make-up on

Id flop around in slippers, screach and yawn

I would nt see anyone, just time for me

I d write all day and paint at night, while i play my music oh so loud

Dance in my kitchen while the dog would howl

Now once this week ended, id go back to the world

Batteries recharged 

Id brush my shiny hair, make-up on, id jump in my car

Back to work id go, blouse tucked into my skirt, high heels back in place

When they would ask "so where did you go"

Id smile and tell them "I had a week away with me"
