My thoughts: "You are a different wish" By Ben Goode 2014 (c)

Words can be every bit as hurtful as sticks and stones, depending who has said them. Broken promises and arrangements feel as if the very ground you stand on has crumbled. Not being able to see someone you want to makes you feel life is unfair. And it is and can be. 
Not being able to make someone see you care about them feels as so god damned frustrating. They misunderstand you concern for mistrust. Loving someone who just doesn't understand why you do, is the greatest annoyance. 
They don't take you seriously. They have no idea how that makes you feel. Just feeling so numb inside sometimes makes you wonder whats disappearing from within. It makes you wonder are you bleeding care? Can it be replaced. 
Or has the hurt become an unhealing injury? Seething with an unvented anger. Words become like spears. Confidence like an unprotected treasure someone always tried to steal. Self esteem like a balloon someone tried to prick. 
And they usually do. Its like a game. But not one easily won. It has a price. Small pieces of you chipped away as if you were a disrespected statue. Everyone wants a piece, sure why not? 
Lets take a shot. They're fair game. They have faults. 
Lets let them know. Lets judge, the jury is out. Guilty. 
The sentence is a limbo. No apology has the key, just another trapdoor to fall down later. 
Disappointment has shaven away more faith. As if there was plenty, as too many portions had been give out too readily. 
A foolish notion. Perhaps you made too many predictable assumptions. Missing the whole point. As if I was trying to make you see red when I painted blue.

Only I saw the color, and heard the words you stated. Your ears plugged. Perhaps you were right all along. You seem to think so. Maybe what you think is all that matters to you. Maybe what I think is just an idea. A fantastic concept. A dream. Only one I can make true. Cause you are a different wish. And a different star.
