The Bells Ring Out !
We can hear the bells ringing !
We can hear our hearts singing !
A tide of emotion so euphoric
What has happened so historic
A celebration as never before
As an end is declared to all war !
For so many it is their salvation
The globe sees unrestrained elation
This day, all are glad to bear witness
To the triumph of love and kindness !
With reconciliation being victorious
Our future is guaranteed to be glorious.
Who would have thought this would be ?
The wished for peace on earth, reality !

Hey Sir Waters!!.........what I'm seeing here is that eventually the bells will ring!!...........no more war anywhere on the entire planet!!.........and you know what.........I'm with you bro!!..........I know it's coming because good ALWAYS triumphs over evil .............I just hope I'm around to see it........somehow I don't think that will be the case.........but I AM a believer in the eventuality of it.........because.......I believe in God..........and God is a pretty cool entity!!...........thanx for this man!!.........peace...........T xo
It's a poem based on wishful thinking and a lot of optimism ! There is no harm in dreaming or hoping that in the future man will find conflict unnecessary. But, as you say, it is a long way off ! One day though the bells will ring !
