The sound of your voice gave me courage once again.

And a smile I never dreamed my face could have
My own reflection often shed tears, and all I could see was grief.
And it was all i thought I would ever see and feel.
Hope always lingered, but I thought my dreams would never come true. Time passed and the stars remained to wish on.
You were the brightest star there, and still remain so
As surely as I would navigate my life with you in my skies.
The moon promised me your smile. I could see your face.
And I always felt you were there in some way, so I smiled back.
But it was never really enough,
For I couldn't really reach you. Despite my efforts.
But I wouldn't give up. And never really have.
There was too much to lose.
And i didn't want to sacrifice any of my dreams.
Not for anyone. The cynics drove me closer.
And like a stubborn child I would stand by you.
I wanted to be right. And my heart knew i was.
You gave me inspiration, and that was enough to
satisfy my mind. Logic was never my forte.
Creativity was rife. And poetry flowed like a river.
I knew you were part of that. And forever would
be my muse. A goddess, and the heaven was as
simple as the world you had created within me.
And certainly the feelings I felt so vividly.made me
feel happy that I could feel them once more.
And I know that now the future is as indeed as bright
as the star that is you in my sky.
