I wish I didn't leave your side

I wish I was the one who stayed and witness your final moments

You were the reason I'm still breathing

I wish I could be a better person for you

I wish I was the strongest one out of the 5.

But I guess I was the strongest one who stayed strong for too long!

I wish I could kiss you and hug you with all my might

But wishing can't bring you back to life.

I feel like an empty body without a heart or soul to be able to live the life you gave me.

In return the moments we shared are the moments I'll be holding onto for the rest of my life.
