World peace and harmony

Imagine all the people living life as one

Oh I wish this could be

I wish with all my heart no child would ever suffer again because of war, religious belief, the sex they are born the colour of their skin or because of a system that cannot keep them safe when needed.

I wish no-one would know the pain of hunger, the emptiness of loneliness or the judgemental abandonment of a society that sees a person who lives in a way that  is no harm to others, but whose choices may be different and so is deemed wrong.

I wish we could accept each other, white, black, yellow and every colour in-between

I wish no animal would suffer ever again at the hands of man

I wish people who have never had a special bond with an animal could experience it, even once, just to know how wonderful it can be.

I wish every elderly person had purpose, I wish their value was valued by all. I wish they could live until they died, surrounded by love and respect.

Oh what a beautiful world it would be if we could just live in harmony.
