Fear Of ' Strangers'

Fear Of ' Strangers'

In ancient communities ' strangers'
Were perceived as the greatest menace.
Parochial tribes feared them. Today, they are
Often labelled as mad dreamers no less.
Through history, there have been Pied Pipers,
Creative chameleons and 'Commies.'
Some still believe, they disturb the wider
Society, but others, fervently
Believe that they, to the contrary, help
To evolve it with prescient notions
That echo throughout the ages. To sell
The Light of Truth, via heady potions,
Is still a Herculean task, to say
The very least. The vast, dream- like ocean
Of Thought is sailed on by few, I'm afraid.
I guess crude, irrational emotion
Will prevail within the 'great' human race!
Henceforth, nothing will ever really change.
