Poem -

Winter Blues And Greys.

Burn your candles bright and your log fire warm.
Keep oneself sheltered from winters icy harm.
Grey skies at night turn to grey skies in the morning.
Outside i hear a winter cold banshee mourning.
Winter brings out the worst in this short life.
This cold icy season brings out the worst in my wife.
The tea in the pot is hot and ready for my cup.
Once it’s poured in with two sugars i will cautiously sup.
I look out my window and see only cold.
The sun has lost its colour it’s no longer coloured warm summer gold.
My body covered in layers of clothes.
This type of weather it hatefully loathes.
Early to bed and late to rise.
For this time of year it’s a decision that’s wise.
To you all i say do have a warm day.
Tis certainly not a day to make nourishing hay.

Right?

Great write!
