It's been a year now
Allow me to fall from both your lips and fingertips.
Forget my fragrance
It's been a year now
Seek out scents that mesmerise, but without me.
Don't think of my eyes
It's been a year now
Our eyes can't connect the way they used to, honestly.
Don't stay where you are loving me
It's been a year now
The ache will fade, leaving remnants of your love - the best bits.
These you can keep, for all the years now.
