Road Less Traveled

I take the high road
cause I can't take the drama
playing out below..

Sure the path above is lonely
for we stubborn dinosaurs of morality
and maybe extinction
is our ultimate fate
but isn't death a shared experience
for all we mortal travelers anyway?

So we may as well ride this highway
with a little class and dignity
