Poem -

Sunflower

Sunflower

From a seed I grew
and now I'm grown
I find, I have a hole in my soul
nothing in this world can fill it
my heart has a constant headache
my feet, they tap dance to the silence
silence and disbelief
of what this world has come too
and my eyes?
closed until further notice
well I'm trying not to open them
in hope
it is all a bad dream
at least when they are closed
I can see
 the beautiful sunflower
that is me.

My dearest Marion, lovely to see you, yes what an awful terrible moment for our world. Thank you for seeing the beauty in this 🌹

I knew this to be true about you before the poem. The very closest picture of you yet, I feel, Sunflower.

Google (Shirley Harrison poet)  then press on images, I'm the blond one in the hat.
and you can see me. I'm not special but I have a good heart. 🌹

The imagining of ourselves is the most important part. We see ourselves how we'd like to be, opposed to what others tell us we are

It doesn't matter what we look like on the outside it is how we feel from within. I wear hats because they warm my head and my heart, much like poems do. 🌹 Thank you dear Rory.

I'm not against hats, well, maybe an Americano baseball 🙄. And if you wear one backwards I can never forgive. Otherwise you look just fine, except I only found one picture?

I'm very private on the internet, I prefer people to see my soul rather than my face, cool now you have met me.  🤣

Hello dear Lee, so very kind of you to come by, thank you so much, our world isn't the most pleasant right now, but it's always better in my humble opinion to find the good. Thank you. 🌹
