Nothing
Broken

Some say I'm strong,
But I am breaking,
Life leaves me shaking.
Some look at me and think I'm whole,
But I am dissolving,
Just a door revolving.
Caught in a snare called life, that was neither ready or aware,
I begin to speak words of light, of inner truth,
But I am bare.
I dance as a reminder,
I write so I don't forget,
I create to feel,
I keep it all in to heal.
Leaves me tormented reminding me I'm real.
I have hidden away the deepest parts of myself,
I keep them safely locked in, hidden.
I showed you a glimpse into my soul,
Into my pain and into my shame.
I then awaited, while listening to hear what you had to say,
But the love that never was, left no sound, leaving me bound;
Tattered in self-inflicted pain, crying in the purple rain.
Yearning for something to forget that I am nothing...

It's good to bare the soul
Love is an open door. Beyond the heartache and the pain. Lovely poetry.
