Ferocity of Fire

Ferocity of Fire

His love so raw, so ravenous, so hidden within my vine,
I am his and he is mine.
Watered ferociously with a sacrificial purity of a spring rain,
He comes to me; risking all, rescuing me from my pain.

Desires eye, despite the cost,
Unspoken love, intoxication; leaving us lost.

Soul burns and encapsulates, butterflies tied up in a twitterpate.

Plane flights, winter nights, and bubble lights.

All consuming, devoured by his kiss,
Melting together inside a snowflake of Christmas bliss.

A love devoid of confinement,
As does the roaring flame in its delusional space-of a fireplace.

A raging fever, chaotic and eager.
His endless gaze wraps me in,
So tight a grasp, leaving revealed every mask.

Curiosity and wonder, is this ecstasy or fantasy.
His eyes can hold no lies,
No more compromise.

On his knees he falls,
Body shuddering, heart pounding.

Truth is his only quest, exhales breathless,
She answers YES!
