Poem -

The moon above

A kindness returned from you
Reflects the light of the moon
Soon as the monsoon passes.

It's all that's needed for the world

To again show the yellow bone

Risen above the Cypress.

The Cypress clears a space

In the grove of the Mediterranean

   olives.

It's because the moon shows

Herself I have decided love

Will not be conquered

And my intention not be unseen

By the way I have wandered.

To reciprocate would be simply to

Save much needed face.

On the surface it seems your account

Of my deeds aren't welcomed,

But to see with the heart the story

Of the moon above the Cypress

 is different.

It clears the mind as to what you

You saw my intention as

In the first place.

Now you have returned to me that

   kindness.
If you have seen with my eyes

Than you have seen with my heart
So I chart through the grove
And look up and find the moon knows.

It's so hot here at the moment, and finishing up work it's been mad as always those two year old run me rugged 🤣
