Poem -

Sleeping

The foal is hunted by the wolves.
The snake in the wood is by

The lake where remains lay of the

Dead baby horse.

Silence moves to the sound of

   Cicadas and mosquitos seek the

   Blood of an oncoming evening.

The man in the house is building a fire.

   A naked woman is sleeping.
