Not saying sorry.

Just woke up from this dream: In the dream i had just woke up on a holiday morning it seemed, i went to the kitchen where i found my mother and my closest brother cooking together, i saw a huge frying ban with pieces of meat on it, one of those pieces looked like our cat.

I kept looking at the piece of meat for a couple of seconds in disbelief, then i saw it move like a cat waking up from sleep and it actually was the cat, he climbed down like he wasn't hurt at all but i could see that got burned badly, after the cat went outside, i looked at my mother and brother and they looked very indifferent, it made me angry, and i think i yelled at my mother and brother for not noticing that cat was there, they each walked away, my brother looked at me before going to his room and said that it wasn't their fault, they couldn't know because they were busy cooking, angered by what I've just seen and that he was giving excuses instead of just admitting what he did wrong,  my reply was that i cook too but i never not notice things like that even if I'm cooking a huge meal, he didn't reply and went to his room looking angry, after a couple of seconds in kitchen alone i got even more angry at the fact that they were angry while it was their fault, so i burst into my mother room without even knocking and went at it again, she asked how i knew it was the cat, i explained what happened and then i suddenly woke up.

F.Y.I my brother and mother love and care for the cat even more than i do.
Any one can help me explain this?
