Dream -

Peace and Tranquility

Peace and Tranquility

I often find myself wanting to help others, and when I dream, I dream of being in a country

Where children cry out and they have open arms smiles and caring eyes

I want to hold them, love them, teach them, go to Australia, meet the oldest of people

The Aborigines, and learn there culture, history, and go to the orphanage where the children homeless, loss of parents or families

Teach them how to read, write, draw, use paints, and art materials, sing with them

Build their moral, and make them know life is beautiful, filled with song, and the dreaming

The memories of the mountains and the earth, be free, from all harm, the spirit of love

Never to die, but to come alive in their tiny faces, and the new dawn will awaken from any bad evil spells

Only peace and tranquility will meet us as we hold hands and ring around the rosy, will be our play

As I dream this dream, I feel a small hand enter into mine, and the kangaroos smile, and the koala bears flirt

AUTHOR WILLIAMS...

Nancy Mcgowin,

Great write, My applause, I never had a chance to write "between the lines" of this wonderful poetess verse, I wish to appreciate this poem in my POET'S PEN

I love the below lines

Never to die, but to come alive in their tiny faces, and the new dawn will awaken from any bad evil spells

Only peace and tranquility will meet us as we hold hands and ring around the rosy, will be our play

The real spiritual evolution of the aspirant is always measured by the extent to which he achieves inner serenity and calmness. The more serene a man becomes, the greater is his success, his influence, his power for good. Calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of perception.. Regards & Love

Beautiful...to me nothing is more fulfilling that reaching out to a human being or an animal in need.  Made me think again...I've quoted her before but it's relevant again:

“I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something that I can do.”
Helen Keller (1880-1968);
Author, Lecturer, Activist
