The Rumble of the Storm

I see green, golden, dark blue hue, of the silent, but deadly warning
Darkness fills the sky as my eyes are closed, the shuttering thunder rumbles
Black, gray mounds of clouds, accumulate, a gust of motion comes across my face
Striking light breaks through the tunnels evil tornado like twisting moves
Within the revolution of time, no one man can barely stand
Alone, in safety, though the mark of the devil bleeds curiously from his tomb
Trees turn over, as I pull my pillow over my head, their roots lifted, and rooftops of hundreds collapse
In the mass whirlwind that blinds the shadows naked eye
My bed hits the ceiling and then crashes to the floor, as the storm tears down the town
Mudslides violently collide, with cruel flooding, gushes of rain pouring down
Haunting prints in the earth, marks of shame, as people scramble for their life
Saddened memories, floating by, now in my mind they begin to fade
Only the colors in a lost tornado, a family photo album, broken picture frames
Now all that remains in this broken rumble, is an apocalypse of doom
The warning of the end of our world, now darkness lay beside me, to prove our love is true
In the passing, if we haste not to follow our heart, we will soon revive our souls
No longer to suffer in waste, but to begin again, like the human beings we are
In the rumble of the storm, I dream of lust, I come to you, and we two shall survive
For the rumble of the storm will soon pass us by, and we shall be eternal

“Something Wicked This Way Comes...” Nancy it sounds to me, that you have described many of days, such as this, in Florida. Days when even the sun refuses to show, (it's sometimes over weary face). It rains here, just as much as it boast, of its many, (funs in the sun).....And boy! When it does rain, it most definitely pours….Trees they fall, from miles around, the crackle, of sporadic lighting, can seriously be heard, throughout the town. Although in this one, sanctuary in the arms, of a significant other is to be found and prevailed…Love this stormy write and lines of interest, is as follows…
Sincerely,
Jim

Hey Nance,
You as well dear lady and thanks for exposing Florida, for what it really lives up to be...
Take Care as always,
Jim
Blessings to Florida!!! I have only been in Florida for a short time, on my way to the Bahamas way back!!
But I really want to go to Disney, and see the Harry Potter new addition!! Never been to Disney, and my son is 13yrs, and want to take him this next spring??
Thanks again
Take Care
Nancy
Well I meant Universal Studios!!!
Nancy
Hope to see you here..I went just twice,(here in Florida myself, with my daughter and son). Disney world is a city within itself, Although while my stay in California, the two(son and daughter), drag me to Disney Land, about (20) times...Most enjoyable...
Take Care,
Jim
Jimmie- SERIOUSLY? 20x's to California Disneyland? That is CRAZY!! But good crazy!!!
I have been to California only once, San Diego for one week, but it was simply HEAVEN! Didn't want to go back to sticky Illinois, Oh Well!
Nanc
Sorry for the late entry but in all actuality, about (20) times...I didn't want to go but they definitely did and sometimes, no isn't an acceptable answer to young ones at a certain age, dads are gonna be dads and place the blame on moms, in this case,(spoiling their off spring) but they enjoyed it, so it was all good, although (21) times, was not to be....I enjoyed Chicago and Kirkland Illinois but couldn't adapt to the cold weather and the snow, so i had to make a move from there...Anything below (40) degrees, is a little to cold for my blood....Enjoyed the scenery in Idaho for about (5) years but there to, (the cold ruled).....
Take Care,
Jimmy
